Kuala Lumpur - the Government of Malaysia akan revive rattan punishment in schools. This is done to combat the violation of discipline among students.The Government of kin makes the decision months ago. The government will soon issue specific guidelines on how the implementation of these penalties.
Said Deputy Education Minister Wee Ka Siong Malaysia to the news agency AFP, Selasa (7/4/2009).
This penalty will be applied to switch back after three months declared prohibited.
"We will allow the principal or anyone else authorized to do the punishment, while parents will be notified and invited to witness the punishment cane is done in a special place," said Wee.
"We need to take steps for the prevention of the students at this time not as students first, they are now 'too creative' in violation of regulations," Wee firm.
In 2006, the Malaysian government announced a ban rattan punishment in schools. The punishment is carried out with a flail posterior to the rattan palm or students.
